Anyway, I'm in Victoria (London) for my sins and it's cold today but the sun is shining. Channel 4 have closed their canteen while building works are going on and are instead serving take away Chili from the First Floor meeting room. It sounded so much like a media-whore's soup kitchen I decided to have a look at the execs with their styrofoam containers but couldn't find it despite walking all over the first floor. So I walked over towards Pimlico and bought oranges and lychees from the market on Tachbrook Street and a horrible chicken and tomato sandwich from the otherwsie excellent Portugese deli. I think it's important to buy local fruit and veg when it's in season. Oh, I bought a green pepper for good measure.
